I recently finished a middle-grade novel, Trading Pizza for Ramen. It has been my goal since having children of my own to write a book for kids to read about relocation and international moves. I remember how difficult it was for my brother, aged 11, to move to Tokyo, much harder than it was for me, just 7 at the time. I wrote the book from the point of view of a 13-year-old boy so that it would be a fun read for kids. I am also quite familiar with pre-teen boys these days, as I am raising two of them along with their little sister. Send me an email if you want to hear more.
